Postpartum Personal Training in Dallas
Rebuild core and pelvic floor strength from the ground up, on your timeline.
Rebuild core and pelvic floor strength from the ground up, on your timeline.
Postpartum is where my coaching started. I'm a ProNatal Fitness® certified Pre/Postnatal Specialist with NASM's Women's Fitness Specialization. I rebuild core and pelvic floor strength from the ground up, on your timeline, not a rushed six-week clearance.
Sessions start with breathing, core, and pelvic floor connection, then build to full strength training, from your first bodyweight squat to your first postpartum deadlift. I cue and correct your form in real time, and I adjust the plan to your energy, recovery, and schedule.
Everyone recovers differently, depending on how you delivered, how you are sleeping and feeding, and how long it has been. We begin with a conversation about your birth, your provider's guidance and what you want to get back to, then build from there rather than following a standard timeline.
How you breathe and brace changes how your core and pelvic floor handle a load. Early sessions teach you to manage pressure through the trunk so that heavier lifts feel stable instead of scary. Then we add load in small steps.
Postpartum strength training is more than gentle core work. We progress through squats, hinges, presses, rows and carries with the weight rising only when your recent sessions go well. The goal is a body that can lift a toddler, a car seat and a barbell.
Broken sleep, feeding schedules and a baby who will not nap all change what you can do. If you arrive exhausted, we change the session instead of pushing through it. Short, consistent sessions are better than skipped perfect ones.
My in-person clients get a monthly InBody scan at Recess so we can see muscle and body fat, and every client gets a monthly progress report. Every in-person client, and every remote client on a nutrition tier, gets nutrition guidance from the start.
I am not a pelvic floor physical therapist or a clinician. If you notice leaking, a feeling of heaviness or bulging, pelvic or abdominal pain, or anything that worries you, I pause the exercise and send you to the right provider, then train around their plan. I suggest recovery options at Recess, such as the sauna, cold plunge and compression boots, only as optional extras.

New moms at any point after delivery who want to feel strong again, whether you're 8 weeks or 8 years postpartum. Beginners are welcome, and so are women who lifted before pregnancy and want to return to it. If you had a cesarean birth, a complicated delivery or a pelvic floor concern, we plan around your provider's guidance.
Apply to train so we can talk through your birth, your recovery and what you want from training. Get clearance from your OB or pelvic floor physical therapist before the first session. If you want a place to start in the meantime, read Strength Training After Baby: Where to Start Postpartum or build a free starter plan.
I also coach clients through pregnancy. See my prenatal and postnatal training page.
I also coach women through perimenopause and menopause. See all services and pricing.

Yes. Please get clearance from your OB or pelvic floor physical therapist before our first session.
Yes. I follow their guidance and build it into your training. I don't diagnose or treat pelvic floor conditions. If you're dealing with leaking, pressure, or pain, I'll refer you to a pelvic floor physical therapist, and we'll train around their plan. Need someone? See the providers I recommend.
